Our 'Wee Yin' (Scottish slang for 'Small One' or 'Short One') bike tour may be shorter in distance, but is certainly not short of things to see. We run this popular bicycle tour almost every day of the year, and can also be booked as a private tour. The route is designed to be cycle friendly and pack in many of the Edinburgh highlights, including Arthur's Seat, our famous volcano with its spectacular views of the city.

’Wee Yin’ Route Description:

Our bike tour begins with a short cycle along the Union Canal from Harrison Park to Fountainbridge, then on towards Bruntsfield Links, the home of one of world’s oldest golf courses. From here we cycle towards Holyrood Park via Edinburgh University and The Meadows park. Cycling through Holyrood park we pass the Scottish Parliament buildings and Holyrood Palace, then up Arthurs Seat for less than 1 mile (1.5 kilometres) for great views of Edinburgh and beyond.
The second half of our tour returns to the base of Arthurs Seat then heads east towards the historic village of Duddingston. A cycle along the Innocent Railway Path, one of the oldest railways in Scotland, brings us back to the city centre, and the popular Old Town district. Our tour ends centrally in the Grassmarket, once the location of many public executions.
